1. What a Founding Member listing is

A Founding Member listing is an annual listing on swissprecisionsuppliers.com, admitted through the editorial gate described on the Admission Criteria page, written by an SPS editor, and maintained through the annual verification cycle. Thirty Founding Member seats exist. They are offered before launch and never again.

2. Admission comes first

A seat is offered only after a company has passed the editorial gate. The gate applies the same criteria to every company. Payment does not precede the verdict, does not influence it, and has no effect on the Verified badge or on a listing’s position in results. SPS may decline to offer a seat to an admitted company if the 30 seats are taken.

3. Fee

CHF 2’970 per year, excluding Swiss VAT. VAT is added at the statutory rate where applicable.

The Founding Member rate is fixed for as long as the company remains admitted. It will not be raised, regardless of changes to the standard rate.

For comparison: companies admitted after launch pay the standard rate, currently CHF 3’970 per year excluding VAT, which SPS may adjust in later years.

4. What the fee covers

  • The full listing, built by an SPS editor with the company’s input, in the four-section structure with a claims table showing the source and verification status of every material statement
  • The annual verification cycle: re-check every six months, monthly certificate validity check, quarterly commercial register check, editorial review of submitted updates
  • Presence in the directory from launch day
  • The Founding Member mark on the listing, permanent for as long as the listing exists

The fee does not cover, and no fee ever covers, admission, ranking, prominence, or the Verified badge. The badge is assigned editorially when verification is complete.

5. Guarantee

SPS carries the risk of this arrangement.

  1. Nothing is invoiced until the listing has passed the gate. A FAIL verdict costs nothing. A CONDITIONAL verdict costs nothing until it becomes a PASS.
  2. Twelve-month result guarantee. If, within twelve months of the listing’s publication date, no documented buyer contact has reached the company through Swiss Precision Suppliers, SPS refunds the first year’s fee in full and the listing stays published to the end of that year. A documented buyer contact is an inquiry submitted through the SPS platform or an introduction made by SPS in writing, each logged with date and buyer organisation.

6. Billing and term

  • The first invoice is issued after the PASS verdict, payable within 30 days. The listing is published on receipt of payment or on launch day, whichever is later.
  • Each further year is invoiced 60 days before the anniversary of publication. Payment of the invoice renews the listing for one year. There is no automatic renewal and no notice period.
  • A listing that is not renewed stays published to the end of the paid year and is then removed.
  • A former Founding Member that applies again is admitted, if it passes the gate, at the standard rate.

7. Rate is a price, not a status

All maintenance and delisting rules on the Admission Criteria page apply to Founding Members without exception: certificate checks, commercial register checks, the coherence check, and the misrepresentation rule. A Founding Member that is delisted loses the locked rate with the listing. No fee is refunded on delisting for misrepresentation.

8. The company’s obligations

  • Provide accurate information in the supplier questionnaire and on request, including certificate copies
  • Notify SPS within 30 days of material changes: certifications, ownership, production sites, business role
  • Accept that SPS labels each field as verified, spot-checked, or self-declared, and that self-declared claims are shown as the company’s own statements

9. What SPS does not promise

SPS does not promise orders, revenue, or a number of inquiries beyond the guarantee in section 5. SPS does not act as agent, broker, or intermediary in any transaction between the company and a buyer. Self-declared data remains the company’s responsibility.

10. Data

The company consents to publication of its listing data on swissprecisionsuppliers.com and to its distribution through search and AI answer engines. Buyer inquiries are forwarded to the contact the company designates. SPS does not sell contact data.

11. Governing law

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.
